Archaeology Festival
Taking place at Valle Crucis Abbey this will be an
event for all of the family. Part of the Festival of British
Archaeology the events at the festival will be directed towards
giving people a greater understanding of Eliseg's Pillar and give
information about the archaeological work being done on the pillar
site in the last two weeks of July.
Whats On?
Dr Aaron Watson will be on site to give an artists
impression of the pillar site

The World Heritage
Site in context - a talk by Fiona Gale.
County
archaeologist Fiona Gale will give an illustrated talk looking at
the Llangollen Canal and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct in the context of
their new World Heritage Site status.
